Jones III, juge fédéral de Pennsylvanie a déclaré que la théorie de la « création intelligente » ne relève pas de la science mais de la religion. Ce jugement remet en question sa présence à l’école publique qui doit rester neutre religieusement. C’est une grande victoire pour les partisans de l’évolution.
