Studying pages about a topic the pupils know well is excellent to develop their critical skill : they can compare what they read and what they have learnt in school or what they know. They can also discover lots of useful vocabulary in English, and then use it again in another context. They can also learn things that even you didn’t know : do you know that there are 18 « haute couture » houses in France, and that in the Pyrénées National park there are lynx, golden eagle and bearded vulture? well, it’s all all there!!!
